Chad Booth meets with Sonya Kintaro, the Salt Lake City Deputy Recorder and Sherrie Swensen, the Salt Lake County Clerk to talk about the ins and outs of election day. In this section they talk about the process of running for office, effects of low voter turnout, and what has been done to make voting more convenient so more people will participate.
The last section wraps up with a discussion about what are the different roles that the city recorder and the county clerk play in an election. The discussion covers the different responsibilities that each government entity is responsible, and the efficiencies that are gained by cities when they are able to use some of the resources available to the county.
