It’s frustrating as a citizen to see government waste money on duplicitous services. It can be equally frustrating to people providing that service or even the government.
This week on the County Seat we will discuss how governments make agreements to provide services to each other as a cost saving mechanism. We will explore the topic by looking at the framework of the Unified Fire Authority and the Unified Police Department.
Our panel discussion this week will look at how local governments pool resources to create better services for the citizen; all while keeping costs under control and even saving money.
