We are now going to take a look at the topic of wild and scenic rivers. It is a special designation that goes along with a stretch of river to protect the natural flow of that river. We only have one stretch of wild and scenic river that has been designated on the Virgin RIver, and that was part of the Washington County land use bill that was passed by congress a couple of years ago. But more may be on the way. What are they? How do they work?
