Segment 3: Garfield County Pt 3
The group comes together again to talk about the Timber Industry in Garfield County and the effect that tighter regulations on the forest had on the surrounding local economies. There are people who oppose the growth of a coalmine in the area and how the loss of future mining would also negatively impact the area. Instead of shutting out jobs in mining and timber it might be more beneficial to have those opportunities and to have a plan to reclaim those areas after the resources have been extracted.
