Mobile Crisis Outreach Teams are changing how a situation involving a person in crisis is resolved. These situations typically involved a 911 call and police, fire, and ambulance arriving on the scene. Instead of all of those resources being required on scene it is now possible for a mental health specialist to intercept the 911 call or arrive on scene and assess the situation. It’s a service that is saving the county money and providing a better service for the people who are involved.
