Richfield Resource Management Plan
A recent decision by Judge Kimball from the United States District Court has raised questions on over 4 thousand miles of motorized routes contained in the 2008 Richfield Travel Management Plan. This announcement has WILDERNESS advocates celebrating, but has left the counties who were heavily involved in the resource and travel management plans questioning the entire process.
How will the court’s decision affect land planning on public lands in the future?
Chad Booth discusses the recent decision with Piute County Commissioner, Darin Bushman; an Iron County official who is currently working with the BLM on land planning, Mike Worthen and Mark Ward from the Utah Association of Counties.
