SB221 – The County Seat Episode 15 Seg2
A new law for state and county land planning was passed during the 2011 General Legislative session. Senate Bill 221 the Utah Resource Management Plan for Federal Lands was an effort on the part of the state to counter the wild lands order passed by the department of the interior last december. The bill lays out how public lands will be used in the state, so that federal plans can be made that will be consistent with the local governments. Susan Wood has the story.
