We visited the area as part of a field trip with the BLM and a number of stakeholders as they discussed re-vegetation projects that have been done to help promote a healthy landscape. Our story this week will cover that field trip and share some of the reasoning behind why the BLM participates in re-vegetation projects.
What grows on the Grand Staircase Escalante National Monument will have an impact on the planning efforts that will impact the future of ranching in the area.
These impacts are more far reaching than livestock grazing in the area. Tune in as we discuss the importance of active land management in keeping the land healthy and productive.
