Season 1 Episodes

Segment 1: Aging services

Aging Services is the Local Area Agency on aging. These are Agencies set up across the country, they were set up beginning in 1965 with the passage of the Older Americans Act, and they serve as focal points in the community for people to come to and have their questions answered on everything from A to Z about aging. As people get older, they often need a little assistance and that's one of the roles county government plays with its aging services.
Here with the story is Susan Wood.

Segment 2: GRAMA

Transparency in Government, that's the way things are supposed to work. We hold them accountable by knowing what it is they're doing. In the 90's we wrote the GRAMA Act, Government Records Access Management Act to clarify the documentation and records for elected officals so we can monitor what they're doing on our behalf as our representatives.
The problem is electronics have changed and now that line between public records and your right to know and individual privacy is starting to become an issue.

Segment 3: Roundtable GRAMA Pt. 1

She represents the Utah Foundation for Open Government and we have Commissioner Doug Heaton our friend from Kane County here to represent the county government's point of view on this.
