We summarize this week’s program with a discussion about some of the projects that community impact board funding has helped to build. Fire stations and the equipment to fight fires have been built and outfitted with CIB funding. Water and sewer projects are some of the lesser known projects that people enjoy in rural Utah because CIB funds were available. The new county jail in Kane County was also funded by money that came from mineral lease money.
