In this segment we would like to discuss the designations that were placed temporarily on land to hold it in a pristine state long enough for congress to determine if they wanted to declare it as wilderness. The only problem with it is these temporary designations have now been in place for almost 30 years. What problems and benefits has this caused and what does this mean for the future?
