You know in the world of software, a new version is always good. When you go from Windows 7 to Windows 10, it’s usually
marketed or perceived as a good thing, but not always. What happens when you apply that process to land planning? BLM is set to announce their final determination on a thing called land planning 2.0. According to the BLM this is a streamlining of a process and it’s a system that works more efficiently in making
long range plans on public lands. Local county governments say this version of software needs to go back and be re-engineered.
